Thanks to some of our contacts, we've been able to get a look at James Cameron's Avatar. Here is the WORLD EXCLUSIVE FIRST REVIEW.

It's good. But it's not the second coming. For those of you who don't know the story, Avatar tells the story of Jake Sully, is a former Marine who was wounded and paralyzed from the waist down in combat on Earth. In order to participate in the Avatar program, which will give him a healthy body, Jake agrees to travel to Pandora, a lush rainforest environment filled with incredible life forms – some beautiful, many terrifying. Pandora is also the home to the Na’vi, a humanoid race that lives at what humans would consider to be a primitive level, but are actually much more evolutionarily advanced than humans from a human perspective. Ten feet tall, have tails and blue skin that sparkles, the Na’vi live harmoniously within their unspoiled world. But as humans encroach on Pandora in search of valuable minerals, the Na’vi’s very existence is threatened and their warrior abilities unleashed.

Jake has unwittingly been recruited to become part of this encroachment. Since humans are unable to breathe the air on Pandora, they have created genetically-bred human-Na’vi hybrids known as Avatars. The Avatars are living, breathing bodies in the real world, controlled by a human driver through a technology that links the driver’s mind to the Avatar body. On Pandora, through his Avatar body, Jake can be whole once again. Moreover, he falls in love with a young Na’vi woman, Neytiri, whose beauty is matched by her ferocity in battle.

As Jake slides deeper into becoming one of her clan, he finds himself caught between the military-industrial forces of Earth, and the Na’vi – forcing him to choose sides in an epic battle that will decide the fate of an entire world.

Visually, this movie wasn't the leap forward i was expecting, though there are still a number of things to be tweaked. Avatar is "Good" Cameron, not "Great" Cameron. This is Titanic, not Aliens. This is True Lies, not Terminator 2. The peformances are corny. Sam Worthington is still questionable as a leading man. His leaden style seen in Terminator Salvation continues here. There's very little to his character, and he didn't do a very good job of playing handicapped.

Avatar is a lot like Peter Jackson's King Kong. People will claim it's amazing, but most will be dissapointed

There's upsetting news coming from Peter Jackson's camp who revealed EXCLUSIVELY to #1FS that he, in fact, DID NOT DIRECT DISTRICT 9. Despite his name being all over the trailers and comercials, the film was not directed by Jackson. We discovered this after sending and email requesting an interview and received the following message.

"Peter Jackson did not direct District 9."

This is not the first time big-name directors have led fans astray with blatant lies. Who can forget Quentin Tarantino taking credit for Hostel and Hero. Wes Craven spent much of the 90's putting his name above the titles of films like Dracula 2000 that he DID NOT DIRECT.

What's even more amazing is the internet film sites overlooking this story. Obviously they are biased towards Jackson and refuse to print the truth.

This weekend we learned that international male Leanardo Dicaprio is "loosely attached to produce an Aquaman movie." Although they are trying to keep it under wraps, we have been told by our sources that an announcement will be made at San Diego Comic-con that Dicaprio will produce AND star in an Aquaman movie. The first images of Gladiator as Robin Hood have appeared online. It's a little underwhelming. I think there's a reason we haven't seen a Robin Hood adaptation in some time. Early Morning Saturday Box Office Update

We're a little shocked to see the Zac Efron comedy 17 Again debuting at #1 with over 10 million dollars on Friday. Meanwhile, Chev Chellios has been relegated to outside the top 5 with just 2.4 million dollars for Crank 2: High Voltage. We asked out box office analysts if there's a potential for Crank 2 to come back and end up at #1 for the weekend. They replied

"No."

Still, look what happens to people when they count Chev Chellios out. They get a fist full of fury. We take solace in the fact that the industry's number one Analyst Nikki Finke declared Zac Efron's career to be over, saying "Zac may never get opportunities to work with great directors."

Finke gave Zac Efrom a Chev Chellios inspired throat kick.

Our exclusive sources have provided us with a super exclusive copy of XMEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE. We've seen the movie several times now, and i have to say i was extremely dissapointed. The movie looks slapped together, and the special FX work is beyond lazy. I've seen better special FX on Sci Fi original movies. By the look of it, they cut corners in order to keep the budget in check. In one scene featuring Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, you could clearly see the stunt wires propeling him through the air. What the F?

We had high hopes for the latest in the X-Men franchise, but this film suffers from a number of problems. There is still time to save the film. Hopefully this woeful cut won't be seen by a lot of people.

So after 23 years of waiting, assuming that someone wanted to make it into a movie the moment it was released, the Watchmen movie came out and debuted to just over 55 million dollars. According to insider industry sources, the film missed the 70 million dollar they were hoping for. Because of this, it is believed that Warners will file for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection tommorow morning. News of the lackluster opening has sent the Nikei into an early morning tailspin. Warner employees are expected to be greeted with pink slips when they arrive to work.

"It's a sad day." said one Warner Executive who agreed to speak off the record. "Zack Snyder really fucked it up for the rest of us.

Snyder could not be reached for comment.

The Terminator films are that rare film series where each subsequent sequel has been better and better. I thought they wrapped up the series nicely with Judgement day. A fourth film just seems unnecesary.

Box Office Weekend: Jonas Brothers in 3D is big, but no match for RAIN

This weekend saw the premiere of the youth hipsters, Jonas Brothers, who sold over 12.6 million in ticket sales for their concert/behind the scenes movie in 3D. While the money cannot be mocked, it can in comparison to to Rain, the South Korean Pop sensation whose concert film "The Forecast Tonight Calls for Rain" grossed or 64 million Won, and that is with only 2 dimensions.

Ninja Assasain will be in theaters this August.

Oscar Madness: Brad Pitt Does Not Win, "Slumdog" Takes All the Prizes

Frankly, we're shocked. Hollywood's Number 1 Talent, Brad Pitt, was denied his righful Oscar by Sean Penn, simply because he played a gay. We have nothing against the gays, quite the contrary, some of are best friends in the industry are a gay. But Brad Pitt being the biggest and therefore most talented star in the world should have gotten his Oscar. The fact that we live in a world where Brad Pitt doesn't have an Oscar is someting of a major tragedy.

As for the sweep at Slumdog Millionaire, we're not really fans. We at the Number 1 Film Sites prefer our Indians singing and dancing more or trying to kill John Wayne.

Kudos to Hugh Jackman, who is a huge, huge star and puts on a show. Our only complaint was that they could have thrown in a few more production numbers. The montages were kind of boring.

Watchmen Movie Review

This is a tough review to write for me, mainly because I was so looking forward to the film. We at The Number One Film Site are fans of comic book films. We greatly enjoy seeing movies about superheroes. Speed Racer was arguably our favorite movie of 2009, the perfect blend of action, emotion, and zany hijinks. Iron Man was another film we loved, watching Robert Downey Jr. as the super fun having Tony Stark. Watchmen is neither of these movies. While it may be based on the number one comic book of all time, it is hardly a film we can recommend.

First off, the lack of starpower is noticeable. Instead of getting an A-List cast, the movie is packed with nobodies. The only person I recognized was the guy who played Dr. Manhattan, only because he was in the excellent Mission Impossible 3. The rest of the cast is filled out by actors who do their best, but lack the talent to carry a movie of this magnitude. Who are these people and why should I care about their acting when they can't even get on the cover of a magazine?

Second, the movie is so serious. Where is the excitement? Where's the fun? Director Zach Snyder did such a remarkable job with 300 of making the the movie so much fun. People cheered when the Spartans kicked Persians down wells or speared them to death. Watchmen lacks any of that sense of excitement. There's a lot of talking, and I mean A LOT. There is constant focus on the character's thoughts and feelings. They talk about life, death, love, the end of the world. It's such a downer. These were not superheroes I wanted to be. Part of me wished they were more like Spiderman, but there are no scenes of the characters having fun or dancing. The producers and filmmakers try so hard to make the movie serious. Watchmen is the kind of movie that tries to make you think, and for a comic book movie, I find that kind of bad.

All in all, Watchmen is a disappointment, because it takes away the one reason people go to see comic book movies: fun. It's too bad, because last year was such a good year for comic book movies. From Speed Racer, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and The Spirit. Watchmen is just like Punisher War Zone. It's violent and it doesn't have a star worth mentioning.

On the good side, the movie looks incredible. The visual style is surely going to get someone an Oscar for effects next year. And the slow motion/fast motion style is still pretty awesome to watch. My only complaint is that there could have been more of it. Snyder reserves it for action sequences, but why not use it when characters are drinking coffee or walking down the street. If you're going for a technique, don't be afraid to go all the way with it.

Overall, I'm very disappointed, and I think comic book fans will be too.

BURTON TO WIN 2009 ANIMATED OSCAR!

Writer/Director/Producer/Brand TIM BURTON has done it again! The fantastically fantastical fantasy CORALINE is breaking all box-office records for Oregon-originated animated films this weekend, and Tim Burton must be darkly skipping with glee to the bank. More details after the breaking.

Tim Burton has never disappointed, and CORALINE is another case of him delivering on the goods. His dark and quirky vision of the world is perfectly expressed through his collaboration with the Neil Gaiman. Coraline is such a beautiful Burtony expression of the world that it's impossible to think of any other filmmaker ever coming close to something like this.

Buttons for eyes! Only Tim Burton could think of something so quirky and cool as that! It's like something straight out of Edward Scissorhands, except more 3D and for kids. It was great to hear future Twilight star Dakota Fanning as the voice of Coraline, and Johnny Depp as her father.

So you've heard it here first folks, Pixar and the Dreamworks better just postpone all of their animated films until 2010 because Burton has the Oscar sowned up (like buttons for eyes! LOL!).

Shocking news this week from the set of Terminator: Salvation, the movie featuring robots but not starring the original Terminator. This time, they have Batman starring in the movie in the future fighting robots. It turns out one of the crew members had been "acting like an amateur" and ruining the movie's chances of being good, causing Batman to use words, not fists, to try and straighten him out.

I wish more people would take this initiative. Too many times movie stars are forced to deal with unprofessional crew members. 2009 Oscar Nominations Announced: No Dark Knight or Twilight

It's a morning of mixed emotions here at #1FS as we were just told the Oscar Nominees by the Today Show. While we're excited about the awards show and the many big big stars that will be attending, we are rather perplexed by the nominations. No Dark Knight? No Twilight?

While we understand that a lot of Oscar nominations are political and a popularity contest, we cannot figure out why Twilight was omitted. While Titanic told a far less epic love story, it swept the Oscars back in 1998. Yet, for some reason, and even more awesome love story is completely abandoned for award pandering garbage like Milk and The Reader. We are awaiting the total list of nominees to see if Twilight was completely snubbed.

Roman Polanski Gears up for New Film!

Roman Polanski is not a filmmaker I admitedly completely understand. Though, it is always with great excitement that i make people aware of his work. Aint it Cool News reported to us that his new film, The Ghosts is being cast and it's chock full of recognizable names. The cast includes Obi Wan Kenobi, James Bond, The Girl From Sex in the City that always showed her breasts, Michael Clayton's Old Crazy Friend, and Die Hard's Wife from The Movie Where he was a Ghost.

We look forward to hearing more about this movie and will hope to talk to the Director at the U.S. Premiere.

50 Cent to Direct Film

This is the most exciting news release since the announcement of Ice Cube directing the Player's Club and Fred Durst directing The Longshots. Hip Hop Artist 50 Cent apparently finally decided to make good on his bet with Kanye West and put down the mic. Now, he a bullhorn to direct his first feature film. And it will be excellent.

Reuters reports to us that 50 Cent ('Fiddy' to his friends) will be doubling the awesome by casting Nic Cage in the first of 8 movies to be produced, one for each bullet that struck him down. Yet, like the proverbial Phoenix, he rose again. Can you really root against a man that is stronger than a speeding bullet. 2009 also sees the release of the 50 Cent game BLOOD IN THE SAND. Looks like we'll have a lot of 50 Cent up in our grills in '09, which we think is pretty damn awesome.

Weekend Box Office Report: Hating Asians #1, Crazy Women Freaking Out #2, Abortion Comedy #3

It was a hate filled weekend at the American box office. Clint Eastwood's continued to rellease successful films that take cheap shots at Asians. First he reveled in the Japanese defeat at Iwo Jima. Now he spends most of his new movie Gran Torino showing Asians as lazy, stereotypical gang bangers. And while the Hmong are a poor representation of the Asian community, it's still embarrasing to watch them dragged through the cinematic mud. Could Eastwood go back to killing hillbilly women with paralysis? Or maybe he could go back to is antics in space with Maverick and Man of the House.

Number 2 this week was the hate filled Bride Wars, about two women who are supposed to be best friends but end up attacking each other over a wedding venue. The anti-Asian bias is obvious in a scene where Anne Hathaway is tricked into getting a spray tan that turns her a yellow-orange shade as is so embarrased she is driven to tears.

In the #3 spot is the new horror film Unborn, which is offensive to Asians since the entire genre is still ripping off The Ring and Ju-On. Here are our exclusive stats

HAMA MAMA FAVORITE CHRISTMAS GIFTS OF 2008

Hello dearies, in honor of the most magical time of the year I’m going to tell you about the most magical gifts I received this holiday season. These were all from my wonderful friends and family, and I love them so much it makes me cry just thinking about how beautiful my holiday celebrations were.

1) TWILIGHT FOUR - BREAKING DAWN
(THE BOOK NOT THE MOVIE)
My husband knew how much I loved the TWILIGHT film that he bought me the fourth book in the mega-selling series of epic fantasy novels. I haven’t read the first three books, but I assume that Edmond and Bella are still in love but avoiding each other because it makes their little hearts break too much. I was a little worried by the chess piece on the front cover. I’m hoping I don’t have to know the rules of chess to like the novel. I’m more of a checkers girl myself! As the kids say, LOL!

2) MAMMA MIA SPECIAL BLUE RAY EDITION
My second favorite film of the year is finally on BlueRay dvd. My lovely niece got this for me knowing how much I loved the musical. Saw it four times in theaters! Unfortunately I don’t own a blue ray DVD player yet, but I’m hoping I’ll have one by the time of my birthday (hint hint, April is only three months away!). Until then I’ll just have to enjoy the fabulous cover art and paper insert. All the chapters are named after ABBA songs! Brilliant! I’m especially looking forward to singing along to the sing-along version of the film!

3) 5mW 532Nm ASTRONOMY POWERFUL GREEN LASER POINTER
This is magic. Literally. I can’t believe that I have something so magical in my hands. You press the button and BOOM (it doesn’t really make that sound) there’s a tiny beam of light that reaches 12,000 feet. I think that’s almost as far as the moon, which is why they call this an ASTRONOMY POWERFUL laser pointer. I’ve been using it all week to point at things. I use it to show which blue plate special I want at the restaurant. I use it to drive my cats crazy. I use it to show people my favorite actors in the movie theater. Magic!

4) HDMI CABLE
Apparently this is something that can be used to connect a Blue Ray player to a high definition television. I don’t have either yet, but at least I have the most important component thanks to cousin Jeffrey from Omaha.

5) LOVELY KNITTED HAT FOR MRS LADY JEMIMA TEMPLETON
I have the cutest kitten in the world. Her name is Mrs. Lady Jemima Templeton (named after my kindergarten teacher and my favorite breakfast syrup). Lady Jemima is so full of life, and she smells like a sunny summer morning. The nice elderly women next door knows how much I love my little fluffy princess, and she hand knitted a delectable hat and scarf for her! How cute does Lady Jemima look in it?! My niece helped me set this as my new desktop picture, isn't she the greatest?

Fox to WB: Who Watches the Lawyers Watching the Watchmen?

In a move considered "daring" by industry insiders, 20th Century Fox has won a court ruling that they own the rights to Watchmen, the latest film translated from Alan Moore comics. Obviously this will be upsetting to Moore, since the release date of the film will be comprimised.

#1FS contacted Comic Book Industry Icon Thomas Wright, owner of Fanboy Comics for his opinion the legal matter that could hold up the release date of what is easily the 4th of 5th most anticipated release of the first quarter.

"I hadn't heard about it." he said.

Representetives for Alan Moore could not be reached for comment.

Box Office: Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise: Still Megastars Cute Dog: Higher Q Rating

The box office reports have just been handed to us from our inside sources, and it seems as if a cute dog has laid a steaming pile of box office bad news to Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. Marley and Me arrived at #1, with Benjamin Button and Valkyrie at #3 and #4, though i'm told that even though the films debuted lower than the cute dog movie, the studios were still 'extremely pleased' with the numbers for the movies and that no one would be immediately fired.

Still, the most puzzling aspect is the lack of a listing for the star of the film at imdb.com. Searching the cast, we were unable to find the actor who played the part of "Marley".

VIOLENCE: Man Shoots Other Man During Benjamin Button

A man angry that a family was talking during a movie threw popcorn at the son and then shot the father in the arm, according to police in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The shooter, James Cialella (pictured above) tells me that in West Philadelphia he was born and raised. In the playground is where he spent most of his days. He was chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool and all shootin some b-ball outside of the school. A couple of guys Who were up to no good startin making trouble in his neighborhood. He got into a fight, his mom got scared and she told him "Go to the movies and shoot the first mother fucker that opens their damn mouths"

Thankfully for the shooter, Philadelphia considers shooting at movie theaters a misdemeanor.

We doubt there will be any more shootings during screenings of Benjamin Button, though we are still concerned about suicides during screenings of The Spirit.

GARY SPARKLE'S MOST DISSAPOINTING OF 2008

Every year has it's share of let downs,and 2008 was no exception. There were many mentions of words like "near miss" and "abortion", but no films were bigger shots to the sack than films like The Dark Knight and Iron Man. That's not to say that all the films were bad, but for this article, i'd like to focus on the movies that were not up to par, my most dissapointing films of 2008.

1. Zach and Miri Make a Porno

Kevin Smith has always had potential, which he seemed to realize with Clerks 2. After many films of obscene talking and foul mouthed fun, he took it to the next level with the inclusion of donkey fucking. When i heard his next film would be called Zach and Miri make a porno, i got excited, feeling that Smith would finally transcend his bland ways and make some real good offensive filmmaking. But what we got was a by the book romantic comedy with nothing more than some implied anal sex and vaginal soap bubbles. Were was the stained panties? Where were the other 6 orifices? The tentacles? Besides one good scene of a man being painted in feces, it was a complete dissapointment. Kevin Smith has proven he's too tame for mainstream audiences.

2. Iron Man

Wealthy white industrailist creates a suit made up of technology made in cina and uses it to harass Asian warlords trying to bring order to shiftless layabouts and kills them, and the American people hail him as a hero. At least Robert Downey Jr played Stark realistically as a drunk. Iron Man is nothing but cliche and stereotype.

3. The Dark Knight

Deja Vu? Wealthy white industrialist? High tech suit? Coming into asia and abusing Chinese citizens? Ridiculous. Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker was fantastic, but once again the film shows just how hollow the American sense of vigilante justice really is. I eagerly await the next comic book franchise brought to film where some psychologically tortured spoiled brat buys himself a suit and randomly throws Koreans through plate glass windows.

4. Pineapple Express

I was extremely entertained by this movie until i found out it was not a documentary.

Like many people eagerly awaiting Christmas, we were using the NORAD system Santa Tracker to keep up with Father Christmas' travels. At around 8:58 PM EST, Santa went missing, and a message was sent out from the server, dubbed WOPR, informing happy children around the world that "Santa has been eliminated.", followed by the cryptic question "Would you like to play a game of Chess?"

This is me, Dang Sook Wi here to give you guide for your watching pleasures on holiday if you are not a fan of the Santa Claus and tree and Jesus. My guide hopefully will pass time for you Jew, Muslin, Xanadu and Kwanzaas out there while you wait for friends who wait for the Santa and Jesus to come.

Many no Christmas peoples like to pass their time with the films and this is why we at Number 1 Film site are here to save your day. I will give you guide to make your yes Christmas friends jealous of times spent on holiday.

Okay no more beat around the bush, time for actions.

1. VALKYRIE

This is big no brainer. Tom Cruise, a fellow no Christmas who follows Xanadu instead of Jesus, and his friends try to kill repressed homosexual and failed artist Nazi man Adolf. They are all very angry and don't like their leader. Dang Sook Wi has not seen as of press time, but I think that they try to convince Adolf to pick up the brush again and they instead try to kill him and many Nazi friends. I like this. Go watch Valkyrie and make fun of the little angry mustache man.

2. THE HEBREW HAMMER

This one will unite all of the no Christmas people's, even the Muslin folk. A funny Jew named Mordechai Jefferson Carver, who is played by the funny Jew Adam Goldberg, teams up with other no Christmas peoples, including Kwanzaas, to go after the evil friend of Jesus, the Santa Claus, and topple his evil Christmas empire.

3. TWILIGHT

Okay, Dang Sook Wi admits there is Twilight bias here on Number 1 Film site, but really just look at him. Robert Pattinson is able to be sparkly and awesome and make it seem like a tremendous burden and a curse even though he is clearly awesome. Dang Sook Wi really likes this sort of thing and so does all Number 1 Film site staff. Also, all no Christmas peoples will like him too.

4. THE NATIVITY STORY

Twilight lady Catherine Hardwicke delivers film about the Jesus and his friends. A little girl is his mother and she rode the whales in Whale Rider which Dang Sook Wi likes a lot. Also, some of the yes Christmas folks can enjoy this one too because it celebrates their leader Jesus and I think (I haven't seen it so I'm not sure) that his friend Santa Claus might be in there too (there are many beards in the trailers).

5. THE GOLDEN COMPASS

From the Twilight 2 man Chris Weitz comes the story of a big bear (seen above) who wears some sort of gear and rides children on his back and a big golden compass (of title). Now, Dang Sook Wi has not seen this one but is aware that no Christmas and no Jesus peoples will appreciate it because it is about the bear and his friends and their navigational tool trying to kill the Jesus and his followers and the gray bearded man in the sky (not Santa I don't think). Dang Sook Wi likes bears and is no Christmas himself so he is interested in joining you, fellow no Christmas readers, in enjoying Twilight 2 man's adventure story of the bear and his friends trying to get rid of all the yes Christmas guys.

HAMA MAMA CASTS - TWILIGHT 2 : A NEW MOON - THE FANS HAVE SPOKEN!!!

Due to the overwhelming success of my first casting column (HAMA MAMA CASTS BATMAN SE7EN) I'm back with another issue of the number 1 casting column for a number 1 fan favorite film: TWILIGHT EPISODE TWO: A NEW MOON.

Because you are not an informed entertainment reporter like myself, you may not know that Christopher Weitz has taken over the directing reigns from Cathy Hardwicke for the sequel. This prince of motion pictures previously brought us American Pie, About a Boy, and Golden Compass: Edge of the World. These were all massive worldwide hits, and illustrate Christopher’s expertise in making fantastical elements feel realistic, such as Jason Biggs having sex with a hot girl or Nicole Kidman being able to move her face.

The rumor mill is a spinning with the news that Jacob (the underage Native American who turns into a werewolf) will be recast in the new Twilight film. Hama Mama strongly agrees with this decision, as she has a hard time picturing Sharkboy turning into a Wolfboy. While they both have sharp teeth and are deadly killers, they also are from two different worlds (i.e. - Sharks live in the Ocean, and Werewolves live on the moon). Sorry Taylor Lautner, you’ll just have to live off the massive residual checks from the first film until they make Sharkboy and Lavagirl 2.

To help Christopher Weitz, Stephanie Meyer, and the professional movie distributors at Summit Entertainment, I am willing to offer some free casting advice. In lieu of payment, I would appreciate a signed Twilight book for my niece.

HAMA MAMA GUIDE TO RECASTING JACOB aka HAIRY NATIVE WEREWOLF AMERICAN

1) The obvious choice - ROBERT PATTINSON
We already know the Twilight fans love this dreamy dreamboat. He was beyond excellent as Edmond in the first film. Who else could make sparkly skin seem so broody? He was totally believable when pretending that having sparkly skin was a terrible curse, and when pretending the delectable Kristin Rachel Stewart smelled like rotten socks stuffed with rotten crabmeat. This guy has chops! And he can act too! So let's just cut to the chase. Your best bet is to cast Robert Pattinson as both Edmond AND Jacob. Put him in white-sparkly-face for the Vampire and red-hairy-face for the Werewolf, and you guarantee yourself at least $500 billion worldwide. The best part is that my niece told me Edmond disappears for most of the second story anyway!

2) ALL CG CHARACTER VOICED BY ROBERT PATTINSON
OK, so you're worried that maybe it will be confusing if Robert Pattinson is playing both of Bella's love interests. I think you're wrong, but I respect your wrong opinion. With science where it is today, I think the wizards at Industrial Wizards and Magic can make an incredible CG werewolf creature with all the acting ability of Robert Pattinson, but without the confusingly perfect cheekbones and stunning vampire brow. This way you can dial in exactly how "Native" you want the Native American. For bonus fanboy and fangirl love I would get Gollum to do the motion capture for Jacob.

3) WILL SMITH
Sure, he's not as big of a movie star as Robert Pattinson, but he's definitely a step up from Taylor Lautner. There's a bit of an age difference to overcome, but I think you can use some of the Benjamin Button magic on Will’s face to Freshen up the Prince (pun intended). There is one big racial downside to casting Will, which I'm sure you already all know. He's not Native American. But I think we can have some flexibility in the name of art. Plus if you’re really lucky you’ll get a wonderful Will Smith end credit rap song!

4) CHANNING TATUM.
As my niece would say: “OMG OMG OMG! HE IS SO HOT!” Channing looks like a cross between Robert Pattinson, Josh Hartnett, and Sarah Palin’s slow baby. He will really help solidify the teen girl and 40-something spinster fanbase. The other good thing is that you know Channing can dance (see Step Up and Step Up 2 Da Streetz for proof). His dancing skills will make all the action scenes more realistic. Also as an additional suggestion, I think the third film should feature a dancebattle between Jacob and Edmond for Bella’s heart.

5) Outside the Box - ROBIN WILLIAMS
I loved Twilight as much as the next girl. But after the third viewing, I really started to wish there was some comic relief. The film is so serious and romantic all the time, and sometimes a girl wants some laughter after swooning. Like with Will Smith, there is an age difference. However, I just remembered that Edmond is supposed to be over 100 years old, so clearly there isn’t an issue with a teenage girl dating an older guy in the Twilight universe. The best part about Robin Williams is that you wouldn’t have to do any Werewolf makeup due to his natural fur.

To start off this column, we will focus on the new BATMAN movie to be directed by either Christopher Nolan, Tim Burton, or Joel Schumacher. There have been six AWESOME movies in this franchise so far, and we're hoping the seventh will continue the tradition of excellence. However, we know that it's important to find the right cast and these are the names hot on the lips of every movie fan worth his weight in salt.

1) BATMAN - Christian Bale
He was good in the last two movies, and although he's not as hot as George Clooney or as creepy as Michael Keaton he does a good fake Batman gravel voice. He also fills out the batsuit nicely with his man muscles.

2) ALFRED - Richard Harris
I know, I know. Everyone loves Michael Caine. Except for me. The thing that's really stopping Batman from being a big success is that it needs more star talent. That's why I suggest the excellent Richard Harris who played Dumbledore in the Harry Potter movie franchise. On one hand Warner Brothers owns Harry Potter and on the other they own Batman, and those hands should be smooshed together with Richard Harris in the middle. Alternatively they could have Gary Oldman play Alfred AND the mayor because he's so good.

3) THE RIDDLER - Dr. Neil Patrick Harris M.D.
He's smart (see Doogie). He's funny (see Harold and Kumar). He's white (see his face). He can sing and dance (see Dr. Horrible, and not Rent). Neil Patrick Harris has a huge fanbase and would make the best Riddler since Tommy Lee Jones.

4) CATWOMAN - Halle Berry
Totally hot and sexy. She'd be a great Catwoman.

5) END CREDITS THEME SONG - Jon Bon Jovi

BOX OFFICE: YES MAN @ #1 - TOTAL DISASTER, SEVEN POUNDS @ #2 - MASSIVE SUCCESS

Chuk here with your weekly inside box office analysis. It seems that YES MAN opened up at #1 for Friday for what should be a 22 million dollar opening weekend. My inside studio sources tell me that even though the film is slated to open at #1, the film is an unmitigated financial disaster that will surely sink the career of all involved.

At #2 is the new Will Smith film SEVEN POUNDS which should end up with a 19 million dollar weekend, another massive success for Will Smith. Despite the #2 opening, our studio sources tell us that Sony was expecting the exact number and that everyone involved will receive blow jobs and bonuses on Monday.

In other box office news, Mickey Rourke's latest film opened at #18 and will only make about $150,000.00 for the weekend, once again proving that Rourke is box office poison.

Frank Miller To Ruin New Franchise!!!

We are the first international publication to report that Frank Miller's upcoming Buck Rogers film will be terrible. Early reports are that it will be "dark", "visually inventive", and "crappy". Currently there is no script, no cast, no release date, no start date, no distributor, and no chance in hell this film will turn out well.
