* Jim Carrey cast in new comedy LIAR LIAR 2: CAN'T SAY NO

Liquid faced James Carrey has just been cast as the lead in sequel to his smash 1997 hit. Details of the plot are sparse, but sources say a new twist has been introduced - Carrey can lie, but cannot say no. Word is that Red Bull will sponsor the film for $10 billion.




* James Brolin cast as Harvey Milk in new biopic MILK

Mr Brolin, the star of recent hits No Country For Old Men and W, will be playing the famous gay rights politician. Brolin is said to have been delighted at the decision and says "I can't wait to do gay - it's a radical departure from my usual work". Sean Penn has signed on to play Token Gay Man #1, Emile Hirsch to play Token Gay Man #2 and Lance Henriksen to play Token Gay Man #3.
